Roofing Contractor in Macedonia, OH
Your roof and your chimney fail in the same place, for the same reason: water. The flashing where a brick chimney comes through the roof is the most common leak point on any house in Northeast Ohio, and it sits in a no-man's-land between two trades. Roofers don't cut into masonry. Masons don't tear off shingles. So the joint gets caulked, and the leak comes back the next spring.
That gap is why Righteous Chimney & Masonry added roofing. We already spend our days on rooftops in Macedonia, Twinsburg, Hudson, Solon, and across Summit and Cuyahoga counties, fixing chimneys that leak because of the roof and roofs that leak because of the chimney. Now we handle the whole thing: asphalt shingle roof replacement and repair, metal roofing, and the flashing and masonry that ties it all together.
We quote roofing the same way we quote chimney work. Someone comes out, looks at the actual roof, tells you whether it's a repair or a replacement, and puts one price in writing. No storm-chaser pressure, no fear-selling, no surprise change orders. If we find rotten decking when the old roof comes off, you see it before we replace it.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing
Curling, missing, or storm-torn shingles let water in long before the ceiling shows it. We replace and repair asphalt shingle roofs across Northeast Ohio, and because we are chimney people first, the flashing around your chimney gets cut into the brick instead of caulked over.

Metal Roofing
A metal roof sheds snow, shrugs off freeze-thaw, and outlasts two shingle roofs. We install standing seam and metal panel roofs on homes across Summit and Cuyahoga counties, with the chimney flashing and masonry handled by the same crew.

What Greater Cleveland Homeowners Say

Honest Inspection, No Scare Tactics
Another company tried to sell me a full chimney rebuild. Righteous came out, ran a camera inspection, showed me the actual flue, and said all I needed was a sweep and a new cap. Saved me thousands. This is who I'll call from now on.

Finally Stopped a Years-Long Leak
Two roofers couldn't figure out where the water was coming from. Righteous found it was the chimney crown and flashing, rebuilt the crown, reflashed, and waterproofed it. Dry through the whole winter for the first time in years.

Beautiful Tuck Pointing on Our 1920s Home
Our brick was crumbling at the joints. They repointed the whole chimney and a section of wall with mortar that actually matches the original. You can't tell where the new work starts. Craftsmanship you don't see much anymore.
Diane R. Cleveland Heights, OH -
Quick, Clean, and Straightforward
Swept the chimney, inspected it, and walked me through everything with photos. Showed up on time, laid down drop cloths, left zero mess. Fair price, no upselling. Exactly how it should be done.

Asphalt shingle roof replacement and repair, metal roofing installation, and repair of the flashing where the roof meets the chimney. We serve Macedonia, Twinsburg, Northfield, Hudson, Solon, and the rest of Summit and Cuyahoga counties.

Because the most common leak on a house is where the two trades meet. Roofers don't cut into masonry and masons don't tear off shingles, so the chimney flashing gets caulked and the leak comes back. We do both. When we replace a roof, the counter-flashing is let into the mortar joint, the crown and brick are checked, and any masonry problem is fixed in the same visit.
-
Often you can't tell from inside. A stain near the chimney can be failed flashing, a cracked crown, porous brick, worn shingles above the chimney, or a bad valley nearby. We check all of them in one visit and tell you which it is before anything gets fixed.
